Apple’s next “low-cost” iPhone model, the iPhone SE 2025, is anticipated to support the Apple Intelligence feature set.
The most recent reports indicate that the iPhone SE 2025 will be a significant improvement over the 2022 model, offering a host of contemporary capabilities at a reasonable cost, most notably support for Apple Intelligence features.
Design inspired by the iPhone 14
The primary anticipated modification is the integration of the contemporary iPhone’s full-screen layout, which does away with the conventional Home button.
When this information was originally made public at the end of last year, it seemed likely that the gadget would be built on the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 model, but with a redesigned back that would have a single camera rather than two.
Furthermore, Apple replaced the iPhone 13’s LCD screen with an OLED screen, which was also taken from the iPhone 14.
Will there be support for Apple Intelligence?
The CPU that the new model will employ is one unsolved mystery, although Mark Gurman of Bloomberg confirmed that it will be a new chip that can run Apple Intelligence. Naturally, having a CPU capable of supporting Apple Intelligence is only one thing; the iPhone 15, for example, has at least 8GB of RAM, which is required for the device to use these AI functions. and with only 6GB of RAM, the iPhone 15 Plus is unable to accomplish it.
The company’s major machine learning initiative, Apple Intelligence, promises generative AI and more contextual responses.
More costly
It appears that in order to cover hardware enhancements, Apple will need to raise the price of the new model from $429 for the current SE model to $499.
The iPhone SE 2025 is still a “bargain” for anyone who require a little gadget that is capable of using AI and don’t give a damn about the camera, despite the price hike.
